Modern with whimsical traditional notes

This home in the hills has a spectacular view of the Bay Area but did not shine when compared to its beautiful surroundings. The entire top floor was gutted, with the exception of a handful of windows, to bring a more modern aesthetic to the space. Whimsical traditional notes were sprinkled throughout the home to add whimsy and warmth.
