Zen Treehouse

This generously sized Oakland home initially had a dark, dungeon-like ambiance, despite its ample open space and lush surroundings. We were fortunate to be invited to collaborate on this project and breathe new life into the space. Space planning was essential. The home featured two generously sized bathrooms that were outdated, underutilized, and lacked essential storage. Although the home was very spacious, it overall lacked sufficient built-in storage. A small portion of the home had been renovated by the previous homeowners, but much of it still needed a fresh update.

Our designs were crafted thoughtfully and with a keen eye for practical changes, while also adding a touch of design magic throughout the home. Our goal was to make each space unique and intentional, while maintaining a cohesive theme of natural elements. We paid extra attention to the finer details, such as designing soft yet clean transitions between all surface materials, to ensure the home feels warm, inviting, and modern.
