When we began this project, the original design of this Oakland home was a mishmash of architectural styles that clashed with the stunning Bay Area views surrounding it. The kitchen had a distinct mountain cabin vibe, while the bathroom had an awkwardly placed window facing the front yard, making it possible to see the silhouette of anyone using the toilet at night from the yard.
